After using the new released of Ubuntu, I am truly amazed with the simplicity and the updates. You get special effects right out of the box. I didn’t even have to download one driver for my desktop. All I downloaded was “compizconfig-settings-manager” and that’s it. I tweaked up the effects and enjoyed Ubuntu with the default programs. I’m even considering switching back to Ubuntu, probably dual booting with Windows Vista or running Windows under a VM. Ubuntu is now ready for my use.
